9/21/2023 0 Comments Hifi rush references![]() ![]() Whatever the case - consoles sold and copies sold is a statistic that, at least for Xbox, is more convoluted thanks to cloud gaming and game pass. ![]() This game seems perfectly suited for the platform. Nevertheless, in this case, I'd imagine MS have (or are) toying with the idea to release on Switch. Bottom line: the longer a game is in development, the more money it will take to recoup. In fact I suspect that's exactly the reason they've battened down the hatches lately, which may be why so many people are leaving positions. On topic: In regards to stats (cost vs income) I reckon when MS got their crap in line late last year - specifically 343 - they knew they were bleeding money when they looked at how long select games were in development for, weighed against how well they do at launch and post launch. I respect it, technically it was great, but I didn't find it all that amazing on a personal level.
